- There is no account.
- The developer collects no data about you.
- No analytics, ads or trackers.
- Scanning and calculations run on your device.
- iCloud sync, if you turn it on, uses your own Apple Account.
What the app stores, and where
Your ingredients, prices, recipes and plans are stored inside the app on your iPhone or iPad and protected by your device passcode. They are not sent to the developer.
No data collected by the developer
The developer does not collect, receive, sell or share personal information. Plate Price contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software. If you share crash reports with developers in your device settings, Apple provides them anonymously under Apple's own privacy policy.
Camera and photos
If you scan an ingredient list or choose a photo, the text is read on your device. The image is not saved or sent anywhere.
iCloud sync
With Plate Price Pro you can turn on iCloud sync. Your data is then stored in your own private iCloud database, under your Apple Account, and handled under Apple's privacy policy. The developer cannot access it.
Backups and exports
Backup files, PDF and CSV exports are created on your device and go only where you send them.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. The developer receives no payment details or personal information about you.
Deleting your data
Delete recipes and ingredients inside the app, or delete the app to remove its data from that device. If iCloud sync is on, manage it in Settings, Apple Account, iCloud.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
